awaybull3.gif (73 bytes)We started this page back in 1996. in really rough times (for Yugoslavia) cause we wanted to express our feelings and creativity on various topics based on punk. Punk like attitude and way to do things. Punk like mean of connection and communication. You all accepted us really well and showed us the way with all you letters, CDs, LPs, E-mails, zines and all the other stuff. Big thanks to all of you folks! At the beginning, we just wanted to put out some of our works out on the web. Then I got idea to make a zine. I really wanted it to be just like "any other" paper zine (stuff to read, pics to see, people to get in touch with...) with one difference...you don't turn pages with hands but with mouse click instead.
awaybull3.gif (73 bytes)We do prefer "paperwork" in zine-making but here (in this prick of the world ...) only way to keep running a zine is to starve (this is not over reacting!) and spare money to photocopy your zine, to pay postage and other bureaucratic shit to spend loads of time on your work. So, we thought : internet is also a media, just like (news)paper, radio... it is a way of conforming, obeying, consuming (?) but... people use it (just like other media...) and it's maybe even a better chance for punk to reach some "ordinary" people. Later we tried to make the first paper version of S.C.A.B., and surprisingly we did it great and we're very proud of it. Now we're trying to keep our paper zine coming out more frequently.
awaybull3.gif (73 bytes)Using internet is not conforming, obeying... at least for me! For me it's a great way to be subversive! Whole empire is based on computers! A chance to change it could be right there. This is a way of letting people know that some kind of real alternative and resistance and revolt exists... But even if you don't want to change the world right away, doing this (zine and stuff...) is a way of continuing to be sane (and sound). It's fun. Simply, I like doing this. I like to hear that Dave from Scotland, Cindy from Australia, Henrike from Brazil, Brent from Canada actually like and cheer what I am doing here. As the number of visitors to this place increases, I'll be getting more and more arrogant and fame-loving... but that's O.K. At least you won't have to read these emo(tional) disasters. Hey, I'm not kidding! If you don't start to send me some financial goods and fan-mail, I'll be forced to continue bothering you with personal problems!
