Interview by Vlada.

Q:For the beginning...from the begining(of the Facepuller)!
A:Facepuller formed out of the ashes of a band called "Supercaustic Fertilizer" that Brad(drums)and I(Brent-bass/vox) used to play in.That was around 1988/89.We put an ad in the local musicians newspaper seeking a "punk guitarist".We got around 11 calls, and played with almost everyone, but when we met Ian,we knew that he was the one.His ability to pick up arrangements, and really get noisy was amazing.
Q:Does your record label supports you enough?
A: Indie record labels support bands as much as the bands are willing to put into it.I don't like the fact that the majors spend so much money on promotion, that the band basically gets screwed because way too much has been spent on phone calls and faxes, etc.
Q:What do you think about Jello Biafra?
A: He is a great guy,who is very fun to hang with.He has a lot of great stories, and keeps you laughing.I have nothing but respect for the man. How many other indie labels can you name that have been going for almost 20 years with well over 200 releases? The staff at A.T. are all nice people as well.We were flattered to be included on the latest A.T. comp called "The virus that would not die",along with bands like No Means No,Dead Kennedys,Dicks, and a pile of other interesting bands that really give me cause to think.
Q:Your fave Vancouver bands?
 A: Tough question,as there are many great(and relatively unknown)bands in this town.I like a lot of diverse music.But it's usually loud,fast,and noisy.
Q:Are you familliar with Yugoslavian scene? And try to translate this from Yugoslavian to English:Fejspuler su veoma glasan rok sastav!(if you do it correctly, you'll win a 3 day trip to the Jupiter!)
A: To be honest,I don't know too much about the Yugo scene, but we do get a lot of mail from your country. The translation is"Facepuller smells like old cheese!" right?...
Q: What does "Irad" means?
A: Irad is my studio/producer name that I like a lot.It is my alias/alterego.Actually,I wanted to name one of our kids that, but my wife said no way!
Q: What car do you drive, and also tell us its characteristics?!?
 A: I drive a 1990 Ford van.It's good for moving things around.
Q: Do you "cooperate" with some other Vancouver band(NMN,DOA,Smuglers,SNFU...)?
A: We have no enemies...only friends. We cooperate with anyone who treats us like humans.
Q: What's your fave zine & e-zine :)?
A: I've taken a liking to Punk Planet lately. Obviously S.C.U.M. is the best e-zine!
Q: Do you have any videos?(for what songs?)(Would you like to see them on MTV,Much Music?)
A: Actually,we have had 5 videos that get played on Much Music. Also,we have been included on 7 skateboarding/snowboarding movies...
Q: When can we expect your new album?
A: As soon as we get a budget together.
Q:Messages,wishes,... for end!
 A: Use your head!!!
