Eat Meat

Hey there! Since I have no idea of writing comu... comlu... con... whatever! I start this one with simple: Hey there. Some of you probably think this one will be another "Iwosev" kinda text. Those who think so are in great opportunity to get disappointed, because even the editors of this great zine sometimes have a need to say something that makes sense.
Now I'm going to tell you something on meat eating...no, my fellow vegans and vegies, you got it all wrong. I'm not gonna tell you how good is meat eating. In fact, I just wanna write down some of my own reasons for which I think I'll never stop doing this (eating meat!).
Most people, in defense of their herb eating, speak about personal health or about rights of poor animals that provide meat to us, right? As far as I'm concerned, first reason is quite OK. I mean if someone cares about those few extra years of life, that he can spare if he takes no cholesterol or stuff. But that also can't make life longer. Here's a fine example:

My grandma (R.I.P.) died at the age of 94! By that time she was constantly smoking (like a bloody Turkish!), you could see her very often with a drink in a glass and she was a carnivore to the last tooth in her jaw! If I add a fact that at the age of 91 she rumbled down the 5m long staircase and stayed alive and kicking for 3 more years, than we can see she shouldn't thank to veganism or straight edge for her long and successful life! But, no! That's not the main point of my writing!
I am (more) interested in so called "humanitarian" reason and most frequent are those about animal rights. About unethical conditions of their life and statement that goes something like this: if one is unable (doesn't have a heart or skill...) to kill animal with his own hands - (s)he shouldn't eat them too!
It's like we're living in one big happy forest full of cheerful animals (ah!) enjoying their liberty, and when one gets hungry, he takes some weapon and goes out to kill some wild cow or chicken and that would make it alright? Maybe it would, but ask yourself isn't that what our ancestors were doing until they came to, what we call division of labor, which made people different from other animals.
In other words: maybe you and me are not able to cut throat and stomach of a pig or cow, mutilate it and hang it on meat hocks, but I also can't make (for example) a bus, but that can't take away my right to use it! Butcher is a butcher because he can't fix TV's and probably wouldn't know most of the things you can do.
But don't get me wrong. I wish all the worst to idiotism such as: hunt, cosmetics being tested on animals or wearing expensive furs, expensive because their original owner has to deal with extinction and some rich lady feels like wearing its fur.
When we're talking about horrible conditions in which our future food is kept, we must remember that millions of people on this planet live in conditions not better of those above stated. Further more, I'm convinced that world would be a better place if only those poor could eat those sausages and steaks. Than we could really be able to deal with animal rights. I live in a shity state and I must chose to feed myself with meat. I can eat in "Leskovacka" ten times (not giving a penny to McDonalds and other multi-national bastards and animal extinguishers), with the same money that can give me just one decent meal in one of those health food stores.
That would be all. I'm finishing in my very own un colmuns...(I think I got it right! Right?) un comulnist manner. Bye, bye!!!

PS: What about pets? Which human need (food? Air? Sex?) can explain keeping animals imprisoned?
